Washington Butler of Puyallup Washington, was always fascinated with the arts. She performed at theater at her high school and also in community theater. She was a student at The University of Southern California and relocated into Los Angeles where she played Belle the beautiful and Beast Princess at Disneyland for about a year and half. She left college in search of an agent to represent her talents, and started auditioning for film and TV. Although initially she was not a fan of the film's violence and nudity she came to accept the feminist nature of the plot and powerful characters. Butler played Jennifer Hills who, following being severely attacked inside a cabin in the forest and gang raped seeks vengeance on those responsible. Steven R. Monroe, director of the film, announced it on the 8th October the 8th of October, 2010. Butler began filming the psychological thriller The Stranger Within alongside Estella Warren and William Baldwin in Mallorca Spain beginning in November of 2011. The film was originally planned to be shot in Copenhagen Denmark, New York City in addition. Butler starred in the 2013 terror film The Demented with Michael Welch and Kayla Ewell.
